Actress Luna Maya to be featured as a brand ambassador in Indonesia

Jakarta, Indonesia -- Toshiba Corporation today announced that it would feature Luna Maya, one of the leading actresses in Indonesia, as its brand ambassador to promote Toshiba products in Indonesia. These products include LCD TV, notebook PC (including peripheral devices), home appliance products such as refrigerator, washing machine and air conditioner as well as color printer/copy machine. At the press conference held in Jakarta today, Luna Maya presented these new products as the new brand ambassador of Toshiba
The advertising campaign featuring Luna Maya will be launched starting from the end of October in most mass media such as TV, newspapers and magazines, outdoor billboards, etc. The advertising campaign will be launched starting with the products LCD TV and notebook PC. Luna Maya is Indonesia's top model and actress and is enjoying increasing popularity and demand in TV and movies in recent years. She is popular among a wide range of audience, particularly the young people of Indonesia. Her talent and likability is exactly why Toshiba Corporation has decided to use her in its advertising campaign, as an effort to further enhance Toshiba's already strong brand image in Indonesia. Using "LUNA LOVES IT!" as the campaign's tagline, Toshiba Corporation aims to expand the recognition of the Toshiba brand as well as the sales of Toshiba products in Indonesia.

Through her efforts as a goodwill ambassador of the UN World Food Program, WFP, she has raised funds to help save the victims of the tsunami that hit the coast of Sumatra.
