TIP awarded the PEZA Top Employer Award

For the third time, TIP received the Most Outstanding Employer Award in the large enterprise category from the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA). The award was given last April 29, 2009 during the 14th PEZA Investors' Recognition Day held at the World Trade Center, Pasay City.

TIP President, Mr. Yoshiyuki Yano, received the award from Her Excellency President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, Department of Trade and Industry Secretary Peter Favila, and PEZA Director General Lilia B. de Lima.

The Outstanding Employer Award is given to a PEZA locator that generated the most number of jobs, held high regard for the welfare of its employees and maintained harmony between labor and management.

PEZA is a government-owned corporation linked with the Department of Trade and Industry that promotes foreign investments in world-class, environment-friendly economic zones through granting of fiscal and non-fiscal incentives to developers of economic zones, export producers, and information technology service exporters.
