S Elevators Sdn. Bhd., (MSEL), is a joint-venture elevator manufacturing company
in Malaysia with Toshiba Elevator and Building Systems Corporation (TELC)
of Japan.
Granted a manufacturing licence by the Malaysian Government, MSEL has manufactured Toshiba brand of elevators since 1989. All its products comply with the exacting standards of TELC.
In May 2000, MSEL was awarded the pretigious ISO 9002.
The manufacturing facility, located in Prai, Penang, is a high-tech plant complete with all mechanical and elevator system simulations, research and development (R&D) facilities including a 35-meter Test Tower. The construction of a new 65-meter test tower is currently under planning.
MSEL has exported elevators to Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, UAE and Egypt since 1994 and to Hong Kong since 1999.
Product speed range: 45-meter per minute to 360-meter per minute.
